The Libby High School boys basketball team trailed Lincoln County High School for most of the first two quarters at Eureka on Feb. 6.

But the Loggers took a three point lead at the half, and over the next two quarters gradually built to a 21-point win.

During the first quarter, Libby missed a large percentage of their shots, but brought that around throughout the rest of the game. They made over half of their field goals overall, and every attempt at a 3-point shot made it in.

The Loggers capitalized well on their opportunities, averaging a point for every possession, never missing a free throw, and making 21 points off of turnovers to the Lions’ six.

In the end, Libby out-scored, out-rebounded and out-defended their opponents, coming away with more blocks, steals and deflections and seven fewer turnovers than Eureka.
