A thank you to the Chamber and an appeal for volunteering

To the editor:

I would like to say a sincere thank you to everyone who participated in the Chamber of Commerce evening held in the Memorial Centre on Saturday, Jan. 20, 2018.

In particular, I was very surprised and honored to receive the Volunteer of the Year award and to be in the company of so many dedicated people who were also recognized for their efforts.

Volunteering is one of the many ways we can give back to the community and Libby has lots of opportunities for everyone to take part.

Thank you.
